TIDEL ANNOUNCES CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP AND PERSONNEL ADDITIONS
Sentinel Technologies, Inc. (Sentinel) (a private holding company) is pleased to announce that it has acquired all of the operating assets of Tidel Engineering, L.P. (Tidel) in a management-led buyout effective September 30, 2006. Tidel will continue to be led by Mark Levenick, President and Chief Executive Officer of Tidel since 1993. The management team will also consist of Flynt Moreland, Executive Vice President - Engineering, a 16 year Tidel veteran; Troy Richard, Executive Vice President – Operations, a 6 year Tidel veteran; and new hires Ed Grondahl, V.P. of Sales & Marketing, and Jeff Galgano, Chief Financial Officer.
Ed Grondahl has joined Tidel as S.V.P. of Sales & Marketing. Ed had a 30 year career at NCR Corporation. He will be responsible for global sales and marketing, as well as all phases of business development.
Jeff Galgano has joined Tidel as Chief Financial Officer. Jeff was formerly with Stifel, Nicolaus & Company and A.G. Edwards & Sons. Mr. Galgano will also be responsible for the company’s merger and acquisition activities.
