TIDEL Releases the Sentinel Bulk Coin Dispenser (BCD) Cash Management System
Carrollton, Texas — Tidel Engineering, L.P. announces the availability of the newest Sentinel model, the Tidel Sentinel Bulk Coin Dispenser (BCD) Cash Management System. The new Sentinel BCD offers the capability to load and dispense bulk coins. The storage capacity for coins is greatly enhanced using bulk hoppers. The Tidel Sentinel BCD supports coin denominations from all over the globe.
SENTINEL BCD PRODUCT INFORMATION
Tidel’s revolutionary Sentinel Cash Management System has set the standard for cash control while interfacing with POS devices and many other peripherals such as cash recyclers and bill validators. The Sentinel BCD builds on this by offering bulk coin dispensing in any quantity and in any coin denomination globally. Coins are dispensed in up to eight (8) smart transport cups.
Coin loading time is dramatically reduced through a convenient loading system that accepts loose coins into large bulk hoppers. The capacity for the storage of large volumes of coins is also greatly enhanced as compared to the vending tubes that have traditionally been the only choice for store management. The coin dispensing system can dispense variable amounts of coins at the touch of a button. Each coin is counted and accounted for the individual cashiers using the PIN based touchscreen system.
The Sentinel BCD is Windows CE based and supports both push and pull data networking with a host datacenter. This is also ideal for downloading software updates throughout an entire network of Tidel Sentinel systems. The BCD will also interface with POS systems for central operations and control.
The Tidel Sentinel products come with a one year parts and 90 day labor warranty, and are supported by Tidel's 24-hour, seven-day customer service center. Tidel offers service and support in over 120 countries worldwide. All new Tidel products are RoHS compliant.
