Tidel Shipping New USA $5 Note Validation Software
 Carrollton, Texas - March 11, 2008 — Tidel Engineering, L.P., the world leader in Cash Management Systems and Robbery Prevention products, announced it is shipping software on all Sentinels which will accurately validate the new USA $5 Note. The new $5 Note begins shipping in mid-March and Tidel began shipping Release 2.42 software with all new shipments of Sentinels as of March 3, 2008.
Tidel has worked with MEI, Cash Code and JCM, the top 3 note validator companies in the world, and is now shipping validation software on all Sentinels that will validate the new USA $5 Note when it hits the street in March 2008. “It’s very important to ship the validation software before the new notes hit the street, or else a retailer will be faced with rejection of a good note as a counterfeit. Obviously that situation is not good for customer satisfaction”, says Ed Grondahl, EVP Sales and Marketing at Tidel.
