Tidel is seeking a Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis. The Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis will partner with the finance team and business leaders on financial reporting, ad hoc analysis, financial modeling, financial/business metrics, forecasting and budgeting. The individual will participate in the processes to produce monthly financial accounting and reporting packages for Management on an ongoing basis. The Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis will report to the VP of Finance with significant day to day interface with the CFO and Controller.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists team in aligning company objectives and assuring complete and clearly presented information is delivered in a timely manner.
  • Requires sufficient knowledge of company financials to ensure adherence to deadlines, appropriate review and approval steps, and confirm all functional areas have been validated.
  • Responsible for timely completion of the Company’s reporting requirements on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis:
    • Weekly financial forecast (includes P&L, AR, AP, Cash forecasts)
    • Monthly product and margin variance analysis
    • Monthly financial reports including Management Discussions & Analysis write up
    • Annual budgeting process and quarterly budget updates
  • Performing on-going monthly report reviews to evaluate effectiveness and achieve efficiencies.
  • General understanding of accounting and month-end close processes
  • Work with customers regarding AR collections
  • Directs staff providing leadership for Company’s planning operations, including driving productivity, developing personnel and overall team management. Sets priorities and performs staff performance evaluations.
  • Drives continuous improvement and standardization in the global finance area. Creates business unit operating metrics and measures their performance to the established metrics, with specific emphasis on working capital management.
  • Miscellaneous special projects
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field of study (Or equivalent work experience). Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Highly developed Excel skills are a must. Knowledge using these functions: Vlookup, Hlookup, If, Sumif, Sumifs, Concatenate and Subtotal. Also, must know how to use Pivot Tables, Filters, Sort, and the various ways to Copy and Paste data.
  • Advanced proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
  • Proficient in using Adobe Acrobat DC for creating and editing PDF files.
  • ERP experience, EPICOR experience a plus.
  • At least 7 years of related experience required.
  • Prior experience working for a private equity firm a plus.

Tidel is seeking a Customer Success Implementation Specialist. This position will be responsible for working closely with our Sales, Pre-Sales, and Production teams to ensure successful translation of customer requirements to finished goods produced and installed, specifically cash recyclers. This position will assist the Pre-Sales team in developing and implementing processes, managing projects, and conduct final checks on product configurations.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinates multiple implementation projects that include Tidel’s Cash Recycler products and solutions.
  • Defines and executes on delivery and implementation plans.
  • Reviews external clients’ product requirements as supplied by Sales, executes tasks in accordance with established implementation procedures, and ensures that implementations are completed on time, and meet customer expectations.
  • Ensures channel partner and end-user support during the implementation process.
  • Tests and troubleshoots final system configurations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 years + experience in one or more of the following: development of documentation, product/project management, QA processes, and business process analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Extensive knowledge of intra-department processes in companies where technical systems, software, hardware or solutions are required to be implemented.
  • 5 years’ experience in implementation of technical systems, including hardware and software.

Tidel is seeking an experienced Trainer to contribute to the continued development and training of employees or customers of industrial or commercial establishment in installation, programming safety, maintenance, and repair of cash processing equipment.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinates with management and staff to determine training objectives.
  • Writes training program, including outline, text, handouts, tests, and designs exercises, applying knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and programming, utilizing equipment manuals.
  • Schedules classes based on classroom and equipment availability.
  • Lectures class on safety, installation, programming, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment, following outline, handouts, and texts, and using visual aids, such as graphs, charts and slides.

Software Engineer

Tidel is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to contribute to the continued development of Tidel’s cash management and cash recycling product line. The Software Engineer will conduct analysis, design products, and program computer software to interface with various hardware components, provide custom user workflows, and communicate with external systems using multiple protocols, primarily C#/XAML and SQL. This role will develop code for embedded application code, resident on Tidel’s custom products, so the candidate must have experience writing software which interfaces to hardware devices (not just PCs).

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Requires an advanced knowledge of software development and methodologies, particularly in the area of interfacing with hardware devices and inter-device communications.
  • Performs software development and dev testing procedures for new and legacy software functionality.
  • Consults with internal and, occasionally, external customers concerning software requirements and specifications.
  • Analyzes and researches software requirements to determine feasibility of design requirements within time and cost constraints.
  • Performs product design and programming activities involving multiple modules or subsystems.
  • Participates in design meetings and consults with other staff to evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, and operational and performance requirements of the overall system.
  • Performs complex release testing and beta support for assigned projects and resolves problems found in the software.
  • Prepares documentation required of the product, including code comments, ticket tracking database content, and other documentation as required.

  • Experience with cash dispensers, cash recyclers or other automation equipment is a plus.
  • Experience with secure communications protocols is a plus.

Product Security Engineer

Tidel is seeking an experienced Product Security Engineer to contribute to the continued development of Tidel’s cash management and cash recycling product lines. The Product Security Engineer will contribute to a multitude of Tidel products, ranging from custom embedded automation controllers, through industrial PCs with embedded OSs, and including cloud-based servers with database, remote access, and custom role- based management functions. This is not a typical IT security role, but rather a product-centric one. The Product Security Engineer will conduct risk analyses based on a variety of attack profiles, develop secure methods for mitigating identified risks, build embedded OS images which incorporate state-of-the-art security enhancements, maintain the spectrum of images for our variety of products, and work with other Engineering team members to ensure the custom controllers and software developed at Tidel maintain the exceptional security profile realized to date.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Requires an advanced knowledge of system administration functions, security best practices, encryption/decryption technologies, port scanning and other vulnerability detection methods, VPN, RDP, and OS administration functions.
  • Requires continuous learning to remain on the leading edge of security best practices.
  • Builds hardened OS and application solutions that limit the exposure to nefarious attacks.
  • Monitors known attack profiles and deploys effective countermeasures for all types of computing platforms, from embedded appliances through cloud server devices (deployment of countermeasures must follow Tidel product development processes, including generating ECNs for required changes).
  • Performs threat and risk assessments for new and legacy cash management products.
  • Consults with internal and external customers concerning security requirements, specifications, and best practices.
