VP of Sales

Tidel is seeking an experienced sales leader with a proven track record of managing and leading a global sales team to join us as Vice President of Sales. The individual will be responsible for ensuring the company objectives for sales growth are met or exceeded, while managing a high performing sales team.

Candidate will have a sales/business development leadership background in one or more of Retail Store Systems, Retail Cash/Treasury Management, Consumer Payment Systems or Store Transformation; and a career background in Strategic Consulting or Strategic Sales. They will be an expert in the Retail industry, spending the majority of their time working directly with customers and partners leading transformational conversations; as well looking at innovative ways to bring our solutions to the market quickly and effectively.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages and develops the sales team on a global basis
  • Develops annual sales plan in support of corporate strategy and objectives
  • Prepares needed sales forecasts
  • Designs and implements sales strategies to drive exceptional growth
  • Manages and directs tactical sales activities via company CRM program
  • Continues to build strong relationships with key strategic channel partners
  • Assists the sales team in closing large, competitive deals
  • Spearheads the responses to global RFP’s
  • Manages multiple channel selling strategies
  • Work closely with other Tidel executive members as required
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of Strategic selling and 5 years of leading a sales team at a senior level
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Software / Hardware QA Test Professional

 Tidel is seeking an experienced Test Professional to contribute to the continued development of Tidel’s cash management and cash recycling product line.  The Software / Hardware QA Test Professional will be responsible for evaluating and testing new hardware and software designs to verify that products function according to user requirements and meet the high quality standards of Tidel.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Evaluates and tests software and hardware designs to verify that the products function according to user requirements and conform to establishment guidelines and product use cases.
  • Writes, revises, and follows test plans and test procedures for product evaluation.
  • Documents, in a ticket tracking workflow system, defects found with products using clear communications to ensure the development teams can recreate the defects in order to begin correcting them.
  • Reviews new or modified program, including documentation, diagrams, and flow charts to determine if programs will perform according to guidelines.
  • Recommends program improvements or corrections to programmers.
  • Reviews product operating logs to identify processing errors and issues.
  • Conducts compatibility tests with vendor-provided programs.
  • Provides non-routine customer support.
  • Provides engineering support for our manufacturing organization.
  • Other duties as assigned.


KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience testing hardware / software systems.
  • Must be self-motivated, with the ability to work well alone and as part of the engineering team.
  • Experience with cash handling or counting machinery is preferred.
  • Must have experience with electromechanical systems.
  • Must be proficient in the use of computing and networking technologies for conducting tests and reporting on defects found.
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Training as an engineering technician is a significant plus.

  • Associate’s Degree preferred; relevant work experience will be accepted in lieu of education.

Product Manager

We are looking for a Product Manager to join our team to lead the design and development of new cash automation solutions for existing and new users.  This is a unique, once in a career opportunity to deliver a broad portfolio of cash automation systems to a diverse set of end user clients and channel partners.  We are looking for someone who has experience in, and understands the issues with, leading a comprehensive set of product management processes from concept to EOL.  Experience working in the cash management industry is a plus. 

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be the Voice of the Customer by securing feedback from end user clients in order to develop product requirements for next generation cash automation solutions and supporting services.
  • Deploy and use best practices to measure, understand and optimize the success of the products you own.  Based on product vision & strategy, design new features and propose improvements to existing features to maximize impact.
  • Author Market Requirements Documents and collaborate with engineering to derive official Product Feature Specifications.
  • Work in collaboration with engineering to develop long-term product roadmaps for assigned products and solutions.
  • Maintain thorough understanding of competitive product line strengths and weaknesses.
  • Create core content that accurately communicates product differentiation.
  • Compose technical information into clear, concise product documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.  Create compelling client-facing documentation.   Train internal partners on product features and benefits.
  • Work closely across Tidel functional groups to drive impactful product launches, including initial sales pipeline development, securing customer pilot locations, and ensuring service readiness.
  • Spearhead all outbound product launch activities, including product naming, positioning, product collateral, web site development, PR, and trade show participation.
  • Collect, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Manage timelines and follow multiple product roadmaps to organize timely feature releases and minimize release delays.
  • Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple departments.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Minimum 8 years direct work experience in a product management capacity, for solutions involving both hardware and software.
  • A proven track record of developing and managing technical product solutions from concept to EOL, and working with developers on a day-to-day basis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to write thorough market requirement documents that are easily digested by stakeholders and upper management.
  • Experience working directly with end user clients to solicit feedback for next generation solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in developing compelling, customer-facing collateral and other related product assets.
  • Experience in working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in matrix management of multiple functions.
  • Excels in fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in retail cash management systems a plus.
  • 10-15% travel required.
