Darren Taylor

President and CEO

Darren Taylor is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Tidel. 

As CEO, Darren is focused on helping companies around the world as they look to Tidel to help them transform the ways in which they manage their cash operations.   

Before being named CEO, Darren served as Executive Vice President of Global Business Development, a role he held since joining the company in 2012.  In that role, Darren helped execute many of the company’s investment areas and strategy decisions while helping to solidify Tidel’s leadership position in smart safes and recyclers.

Darren has been a leading expert in the cash management industry for nearly 20 years and has worked with major retailers to roll out large-scale cash management solutions across dozens of countries over the course of his career.

Prior to joining Tidel, Darren was the Vice President of Retail Solutions for G4S, the world’s leading international security solutions group. In his role at G4S, Darren designed, developed and led its global retail solutions strategy and created a number of unique retail cash management solutions. Prior to his role at G4S, Darren was Vice President of Business Development for De La Rue Systems, both in Europe and North America, where he spearheaded the launch of De La Rue’s Retail Payment Solutions.

Terry Sandlin

Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

Terry Sandlin is the Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of Tidel.  In this role Terry is responsible for all aspects of finance, including financial planning, accounting, budgeting, auditing, and tax and treasury. 

Terry joined Tidel in March 2019 with more than 20 years of financial and operations experience across numerous industries, including manufacturing, third party logistics, building materials, and industrial tools and equipment.

Before joining Tidel, Terry was EVP and CFO at Neovia Logistics.  In that role, Terry was responsible for all financial activities of the company, including investor relations, reporting, accounting, budgeting, planning, tax, debt financing, financial M&A activity, banking, and insurance.   

Before joining Neovia, Terry served as Chief Financial Officer at JPW Industries, a private equity-backed, manufacturer and distributor of industrial tools and equipment.  Prior to that, he held Vice President of Finance roles at two private equity-backed companies, Doskocil Manufacturing and Atrium Companies, as well as Director level positions with Owens Corning and Pepsi.

Terry has a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and an MBA in finance from the University of Toledo. He has also completed the Executive Leadership program at the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management.

Marty Hendrickson, a member of Tidel's Management Team

Marty Hendrickson

Vice President, Sales

Marty Hendrickson joined Tidel in 2016 as our Vice President, Sales where he leads the North American sales and field support teams. Before joining Tidel, Marty was the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Promontory, a Washington, D.C. – based regulatory consultancy where he was responsible for building and leading Promontory’s business process solutions sales team calling on global financial institutions. Prior to joining Promontory, Marty held multiple roles at Brink’s, U.S., a global leader in cash in transit and secure logistics services.  In his most recent role at Brink’s, Marty led their U.S. smart-safe and cash recycler business development teams. Marty has a B.A. in Communication from Luther College.

Steve Remis, a member of Tidel's Management Team

Steve Remis, Ph.D.

Vice President of Engineering

Steve Remis joined Tidel in 2015 as Software Engineering Manager, and was promoted to VP of Engineering in 2017. In this role Steve leads Tidel’s Engineering R&D, New Product Development, Sustaining, and Quality functions. Steve has 30 years’ experience across numerous industries, including robotics and automation experience in the semiconductor, pharmacy, medical devices, solar power, and cash management industries, and in the U.S. Air Force. Steve has 12 U.S. patents and over 20 technical publications. He earned a B.S. degree in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Notre Dame.

Troy Richard, a member of Tidel's Management Team

Troy Richard

Executive Vice President, Operations

Troy Richard has served as Executive Vice President, Operations for Tidel since 2002. In this role, Troy oversees all manufacturing operations, customer service, technical support, global supply chain and ISO quality assurance. Troy joined Tidel as a Manufacturing Engineering Manager in 1997. Prior to joining Tidel, Troy spent 3 years in senior management at a startup tech company and 7 years at Abbott Laboratories in manufacturing and engineering management positions. Troy has over 25 years’ experience in operations management, and his educational background includes an MBA in Industrial Management from the University of Dallas and a degree in Industrial Systems Engineering from Ohio State University.
