Financial Analyst

Tidel is seeking a Financial Analyst. The role will report to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis as well as support the leadership team through data collection and organization, financial modeling and analysis, management reporting, forecasting, budgeting and ad hoc business analysis.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs robust data mining and analysis to assist management including:
    • Weekly financial update
    • Monthly reporting, variance analysis and financial presentations
    • Annual budgeting process and quarterly budget updates
  • Collaborate with Sales, Service, Manufacturing, IT, Engineering and Billing functions on driving data consistency and process improvements
  • Collection and cleaning of datasets across multiple data sources
  • Perform complex analysis of datasets and conduct appropriate data validation
  • Promote continuous improvement through data mining and analytics
  • Build visualizations to communicate data and metrics, including charts, graphs, and reports
  • Miscellaneous projects and other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics, Accounting, Finance or related field of study with 0-3 years of experience
  • Substantial knowledge of Microsoft Excel including vlookups, pivot tables, sumifs, and other functions
  • Proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)
  • Knowledge of query maintenance and development and data relations
  • ERP experience. (EPICOR and XLConnect experience a plus)

  • Demonstrates technical aptitude and the willingness to learn
  • Ability to appropriately prioritize work, deliver on tight timelines and move quickly
  • SQL or other similar tools
  • Detail-oriented with dedication to continuous improvement

  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as a contributor to a project focused team
  • Effective builder of relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Possesses strong analytical, organization, and communication skills
  • Maintains confidentiality of information

Tidel is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst. The role will report to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis as well as support the leadership team through data collection and organization, financial modeling and analysis, management reporting, forecasting, budgeting and ad hoc business analysis.

  • Maintain and develop pricing models and database
  • Provide pricing data
  • Collaborate with Sales, Service, Manufacturing, IT, Engineering and Billing functions on driving data consistency and process improvements
  • Collection and cleaning of datasets across multiple data sources
  • Perform complex analysis of datasets and conduct appropriate data validation
  • Promote continuous improvement through data mining and analytics
  • Build visualizations to communicate data and metrics, including charts, graphs, and reports
  • Miscellaneous projects and other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics, Accounting, Finance or related field of study with 5-7 years of experience
  • 5 years of experience, collecting, developing, analyzing, manipulating, and drawing insights from data
  • Advanced/Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel including vlookups, pivot tables, sumifs, and other functions
  • Advanced proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, query maintenance and development and data relations
  • ERP experience. (EPICOR and XLConnect experience a plus)
  • Prior experience working for a private equity firm a plus
