Inventory Analyst

Tidel is seeking an Inventory Analyst/Planner. The role will report to the Director of Operations as well as support the leadership team through data collection and organization, inventory modeling and analysis, management reporting, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Maintains consistent stock of inventory, ordering new stock up to pre-authorized limit as inventory is depleted
  • Assesses inventory reports and usage patterns to identify items in need of automatic, recurring delivery
  • Manages and maintains inventory system; facilitates upgrades to related database and/or software under the direction of the Director of Operations
  • Conducts spot and partial audits of physical inventory
  • Performs robust data mining and analysis to assist management including daily inventory updates, projected usage rates and determining additional inventory locations
  • Collaborate with Operations, Service, Sales, and IT functions on driving data consistency and process improvements
  • Perform complex analysis of datasets and conduct appropriate data validation
  • Promote continuous improvement through data mining and analytics
  • Build visualizations to communicate data and metrics, including charts, graphs, and reports
  • Miscellaneous projects and other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 5 – 7 years of similar experience
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, query maintenance and development and data relations
  • 3 years of experience, collecting, developing, analyzing, manipulating, and drawing insights from data
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel including vlookups and pivot tables
  • Proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)
  • ERP experience, EPICOR experience a plus
  • Prior experience working with forward stocking locations a plus

Procurement Manager

Tidel is searching for an innovative, talented, and dynamic Procurement Manager to lead our procurement team. You will spearhead the purchasing process from supplier selection to ensuring stock optimization, as well as guidance on procurements and sourcing processes.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, our Procurement Manager will specialize in implementing cost-effective purchasing of all goods and services as required by the company, materials planning, tracking of metrics including Savings/Cost Avoidance as well as Service, Quality, and Cost. Supporting internal customers related to meeting targeted budgets and deadlines as well as operative supplier collaboration activities so that the organization has access to the inputs, materials, goods, and services it needs for its current and future operations. Needs to collaborate with procurement, quality management, product change management, customer services, engineering and production planning.

Key responsibilities

  • Create and implement regional procurement strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and incorporate the growing complexities and challenges within industry
  • Planning and overseeing the work of Buyers and Purchasing Agents
  • Build long-term relationships with vendors in the industry
  • Compare proposals for price and specifications, negotiate with vendors to reduce costs
  • Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
  • Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
  • Communicate with vendors to ensure that the product arrives in a timely fashion
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with critical suppliers
  • Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms
  • Manage systems that track material availability and on time delivery to ensure constant and consistent flow of materials in support of internal and external customers alike.
  • Lead transformational activities to build procurement organizational capabilities and improve procurement efficiency
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly procurement reports
  • Ensure adherence to all safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations
  • Stay informed of changing industry trends
  • Evaluating quality, price, reliability, technical support and availability of goods and services

 

Qualifications:

  • Previous working experience as a Procurement Manager for 5 year(s)
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.

Director of Recycler Sales

Tidel is seeking an experienced Director of Sales for our Cash Recycler business. The DOS will report directly to the Vice President of Sales and will be responsible for sourcing new opportunities and closing sales to achieve assigned regional quotas.  The candidate will have a sales/business development background in one or more of Retail Store Systems, Retail Cash/Treasury Management, Consumer Payment Systems or Store Transformation, as well as a background in Strategic Consulting, Strategic Sales, or customer-facing Product Management.  They will be an expert in the Retail industry, specifically grocery retail, spending the majority of their time working directly with customers and partners leading transformational conversations; as well looking at innovative ways to bring our solutions to the market quickly and effectively.

Working at both business and technical levels within organizations, they will use a consultative, analytical approach and will have an ability to lead and impart global store systems and payments strategy (with a particular emphasis on cash handling processes) and vision both internally and externally.  They will possess a sound knowledge of business industry challenges, change / transformation, and early market (new product/category) entry strategy.  The ideal candidate will also be successful in using deep retail industry insight and knowledge to develop innovative solutions for retailers and other organizations who use Tidel’s offerings.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create opportunities by hunting for new clients in the grocery retail space.
  • Responsible for personal revenue contribution for recycler solutions.
  • Work closely with strategic partners in enabling sales resources in assigned territory.
  • May take responsibility for one or more new product/solution initiatives.
  • Become an evangelist for retail cash management solutions in order to drive end user interest and demand.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience selling Cash Management Solutions, Retail Store Systems, Consumer Payment Systems, or Store Transformation technologies.
  • Minimum of 10 years of successful sales experience with consistent quota attainment.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Collaborates with clients and/or internal teams to understand user needs; drafts initial proposal and design of software to meet these needs.
  • Assesses feasibility of design and project parameters within time and cost constraints.
  • Analyzes user needs and designs software for client use.
  • Develops code and designs software applications based on user specifications.

  • Monitors and assists with software testing and validation procedures and programming.

Tidel is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to contribute to the continued development of Tidel’s cash management and cash recycling product line. The Software Engineer will conduct analysis, design products, and program computer software to interface with various hardware components, provide custom user workflows, and communicate with external systems using multiple protocols.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Requires an advanced knowledge of software development and methodologies, particularly in the area of interfacing with hardware devices and inter-device communications.
  • Performs software development and dev testing procedures for new and legacy software functionality.
  • Consults with internal and, occasionally, external customers concerning software requirements and specifications.
  • Analyzes and researches software requirements to determine feasibility of design requirements within time and cost constraints.
  • Performs product design and programming activities involving multiple modules or subsystems.
  • Participates in design meetings and consults with other staff to evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, and operational and performance requirements of the overall system.
  • Performs complex release testing and beta support for assigned projects and resolves problems found in the software.
  • Prepares documentation required of the product, including code comments, ticket tracking database content, and other documentation as required.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Excellent technical skills, including the desire and ability to learn software, hardware and communications capabilities of Tidel safes and recyclers in detail.
  • Must be proficient with multiple programming environments and hardware platforms. Experience with embedded Windows platforms, including .NET Framework, is required.
  • Must be highly proficient with C#, XAML, and WPF.
  • Must be proficient developing multi-threaded components for embedded devices.
  • Must have experience using software revision control systems in a team programming environment.
  • Must have experience integrating software functionality with database logging and reporting tools (whether home-grown or commercial). SQL experience is a plus.
  • Experience with cash dispensers, cash recyclers or other automation equipment is a plus.
  • Experience with secure communications protocols is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Understanding of root cause analysis is essential.
  • Understanding of retail processes, particularly cash handling, is a significant plus.

Quality Assurance Engineer

Tidel Engineering, L.P., is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our engineering team. This individual will create test cases to add new features and identify software problems, analyze bugs and errors found during tests, document test results through our bug tracking process, continually refine development for efficiency and performance, and work together with our software developers to enhance and improve our products.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To become an expert user of our cash management products
  • Diplomatically collaborate with technical and non-technical teams
  • Understand and contribute to our software development cycle
  • Install software/firmware updates; configure equipment, & test hardware and software
  • Comprehend engineering specifications and test software/hardware against the specs
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Perform manual and automated testing
  • Identify, document, track, verify fixes, and resolve software defects throughout testing
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
  • Requires some equipment moving around from time to time

Customer Field Support Manager

Tidel is seeking a Customer Field Support Manager. The Customer Field Support Manager will focus their efforts on supporting key Tidel distributors. Receives moderate supervision; maintains good communication and organizational skills; exhibits accuracy when working with details. Maintain proper liaison between department heads, managers, employees and retailers.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain a detailed understanding of all functions of Tidel safe Sentinel and Cash Recycler software and hardware.
  • Develop an understanding of 3rd party software applications that require communications from or to Sentinel or Recycler units and requirements to integrate with Tidel.
  • In conjunction with Tidel Regional Sales Directors, work with end users to insure they understand capabilities of Sentinel and Recycler software and hardware and how Sentinel and/or a Cash Recycler can best be configured to meet their operating requirements.
  • Specification and testing of unique end user system configurations, including requested changes.
  • End user training in groups or at initial site installations.
  • Verification of system configurations at pilot site installations and documentation of final configuration for use in manufacturing.
  • Identification of installation failures for any reason, reporting to QA, analysis of findings and initiation of corrective actions.
  • Develop and understand process maps.
  • Analysis of repetitive service failures identified by key distributors, initiation of corrective action.
  • Support Tidel sales directors as needed for unique opportunities requiring special knowledge, new hardware or software configurations, etc.
  • Level 3 triage support with Tidel Help Desk
  • Potential on-call support opportunities for additional compensation (for experienced Field Support Manager’s)

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Excellent technical skills, desire and ability to learn software, hardware and communications capabilities of Tidel safes in detail.
  • Understanding of root cause analysis essential.

Mechanical Assembler

Tidel is looking for Mechanical Assemblers. The Mechanical Assembler will assemble manufactured products and pack according to specifications, bill of materials and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble products.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Ability to read and understand bill of materials. (BOM).
  • Must be able to recognize parts.
  • Must be able to identify hardware.
  • Detail-oriented and consistent.
  • Works well as a productive member of a team.
  • Previous assembly experience.

  • Drug screen required for position.
  • Some overtime maybe required with little advanced notice. Overtime may include weekends.

  • The production area is climate controlled.

Help Desk Technician

POSITION SUMMARY:  
The Help Desk Technician will provide quality front-line support to Tidel’s customers, service providers, partners, and fellow employees. Prompt and professional troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network/communications issues; utilizing proper judgment to escalate issues when necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide responsive, timely support to all end-user questions and support requests.
  • Answer the support calls, troubleshoot, dispatch field technicians, and parts when necessary. Document activity in a resource database.
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure clear communication on outstanding issues and user problems. Work as a team to distribute open support problems.
  • Establish priorities and meet deadlines
